All products are made with Egyptian cotton, and the brand only uses responsibly sourced goose feathers and premium down. In 2021, the Foschini Group acquired the brand and its manufacturer, Cotton Traders.

In 2022, @home purchased Granny Goose, and store staff were encouraged to learn about the brand’s unique heritage and commitment to ethically-sourced materials. This knowledge proved invaluable when advising @home guests on the product benefits unique to the brand. Correct selling and up-selling techniques were added to the induction training to facilitate increased sales margins across brands.
