Part of the TFG brand portfolio, Sportscene is the go-to retailer for SA’s mid to upper-income youth market. Bridging the gap between a sports store and a lifestyle apparel retailer, Sportscene trades across multiple brands, keeping its focus on the latest sneakers and on-trend athleisure ranges.

Sportscene places a significant emphasis on staff training to ensure that their employees have up-to-date knowledge of new products and trends. Developing an online brand induction proved to be a logical next step in their onboarding programme, helping to provide a more flexible approach to the standard in-store training process. All staff members, regardless of their location, join date, or contract type have access to the same training material. With a country as diverse as ours learning at one’s own pace is crucial for knowledge retention.
The end result; a more informed and skilled workforce providing excellent Customer Service, an increase in customer satisfaction and merchandise sales.
